Laura qualified in 1987 from The Plymouth school of Podiatry and worked in her home town of Liverpool for the NHS before moving to London in 1988.
She worked in many hospitals and health centres throughout North London including the diabetic unit at Central Middlesex hospital. She started the biomechanics clinic at Willesden General Hospital where patients with walking abnormalities and lower limb problems were prescribed supports or orthoses which were made on site in the laboratory.
She was chiropodist / podiatrist to Her Majesty's Treasury in Whitehall for many years providing foot care to members and employees from various departments including the Foreign Office, Ministry of Defence and number 10 Downing Street.
Laura has worked in Hoddesdon for over 20 years. Some of her patients include local GPs, Ballet dancers from both the Russian and London Ballet Companies, contemporary dancers from West End stage and footballers from various divisions including the English Premiership. She continues to help residents in Hoddesdon and the surrounding area with their foot health problems.
